Wednesday 25th May 2005

  • Conference registration from 1600 hrs
  • Evening reception 1830 hrs. Conference to be opened by Professor Michael Osbaldeston, Director of Cranfield School of Management
  • Evening dinner, 1930 hrs

    Thursday 26th May 2005

  • Morning session on leadership with Sally Atkinson, Lecturer in Management Development, Cranfield School of Management
  • Lunch at 1230 hrs
  • Depart at approximately 1400 hrs for afternoon visit to the Open University, Milton Keynes
  • Free evening in Milton Keynes from approximately 1700 hrs onwards
  • Option for a guided (‘Blue Badge’) walk around the sculptures of Milton Keynes
  • Option for an evening at Milton Keynes Theatre to see ‘Miss Saigon’
  • Free time for shopping in Milton Keynes
  • Return at choice of two times 2000 hrs or 2230 hrs approximately

    A special ‘Meet the Vendors’ Day – all events open to conference participants and vendors

  • Lecture by Dr Moira Clark, Senior Lecturer In Marketing and Director of the Customer Relationship Marketing Research Forum
  • Discussion panel on future trends in library/ vendor relationships, chaired by Dr Hazel Woodward, University Librarian and Director of Cranfield Press
  • Lunch
  • Afternoon vendor exhibition and bazaar of ideas
  • Evening English country dance and buffet

  • Morning Annual General Meeting
  • Buffet lunch
  • Optional afternoon activities
  • Country walk
  • Visit to Cranfield Airfield including control tower
  • Visit and guided walk around market town of Olney, Buckinghamshire
  • Evening gala dinner, Castle Ashby, Northampton.
